Is Lal Singh Chaddha really a bad movie or is it just a biased opinion due to anti-Amir Khan sentiments?

 There was time in Bollywood, when they use to copy Hit movies from South. During those days, South Indian movies were having limited audience due to Limited audience.

Technically, South movies had great content, stories, cinematography, direction, action but less famous across India as it was regional movies with limited audience targeted.

When Aamir Khan did remake of Ghajni ( Ghajini (2005 film) - Wikipedia ) a Tamil movie with same director, It became biggest Super Hit in Bollywood. The reason behind this Mega-hit was not solely the stardom of Aamir Khan but the content. It was mass appealing. Bollywood writer cant even think about making this kind content on their own. The South Ghajini was not PAN- India release but it was super Hit in south. On the contrary, Aamir did Pan- India release after adding more action and good songs into it.

When Salman Khan’s super Hit movie Wanted (Wanted (2009 film) - Wikipedia), very few people were aware of south Indian original movie Pokiri. Remaking helped Bollywood to gross huge money with very less chances of failure with same old love-drama.

Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh was Super-hit because Arjun Reddy was not dubbed for PAN India audience.

With Evolution of Indian Cinema, Introduction OTT platform, Movies from South started making PAN- India release with so many language options. The South movies like Pushpa, RRR, KGF, Vikram became huge hits across PAN-India. Apparently, Dubbing Has the most Contributed To The Growth Of South Indian Movies.

The copy formula from South movies is not working now. I mean, why audience will watch same movies which the already watched?. That is why movies like Jersey, Cutputali etc. are getting very less audience.

Laal Singh Chaddha is flop movie not due to anti- Amir Khan sentiments. When Dangal become biggest hit of Indian cinema, the same Anti-Aamir Khan people were there. Dangal won because the conent is real winner.

Aamir being rational thinker who every time think out of box decided to adapt Hollywood movie instead of going with South movie. He might have kept one thing in mind that, Hollywood movies has lesser Indian audience.

When Aamir khan signed this project two years back, it became tending news as , Amir is copying The Oscar wining Hollywood movie Forrest Gump (Forrest Gump (1994) - IMDb ). As always Aamir took too much time to complete this project. Meantime, most of people already watched the original movie as it is available on most of OTT platform.

I think this is biggest reason to make Laal Singh Chaddha Super flop.
