Stock Market Wizards course by The Wall Street School.

Stock Market Wizards course by The Wall Street School.

Gaining knowledge from scattered information about the stock market on the internet is like searching for a medical treatment without the doctor’s guidance.

I even took a few courses which claim to give an end to end knowledge on stock Investing, to know where our Stock Market Wizard Course stands in comparison to them.

I found out that there are few parameters where our course might be better than the others, and a few drawbacks due to which our course might not be suitable for you. I’ll list them all.

Before I start, here’s a brief about me - I am the Co-founder of The Wallstreet School and one of the creators of this course. Hence, my answer might be useful for anyone reading this thread

How are we better?

Most courses would just explain you the concepts and ‘definitions’ due to which, practical implementation would take a backseat. Even after completing the course, you would feel, “Now what?”

On the other hand, our course would give you purely actionable items after we’ve delivered you the concepts.

Most of the courses will give a generic explanation on financial ratios which can be used for making investment decisions. However, they don’t state If’s and but’s attached to them, due to which you might lose money because these indicators can’t be used flat out for all the industries in general. For example, P/B Ratio benchmark can be different for manufacturing and service companies.

On the other hand, our course takes care of such industry specific cases and exceptions in detail.

Many trainers might be delivering half-cooked information on basis of a few hit and trials, after which they record the video and launch their course without proper logics and assumptions.

On the other hand, our course content has been drafted by Investment bankers (Including me) who have been into Valuations for more than a decade and thus, the content is well backed by proper research and industry accepted assumptions

What are the drawbacks?

We are not going to tell you about the company stocks that you should buy.

We will not be making recommendation groups where participants discuss about buying shares. Our Discussion forum will be purely for conceptual discussions and doubt solving.

It would get more and more complex, as you proceed with the lectures, unlike the usual Youtube videos which teach “stock market in 30 minutes”

Now you would hear people saying don’t waste time and money on a paid course and that Youtube has freely available courses. Even I checked them out and sadly, most of them again delivered 20% of the actually implementable knowledge and were upselling their paid courses in their ‘free courses’.

Even we plan to launch such free courses on Youtube for demo, keep checking out our channel
